BriefProposalSummary

A building to serve as anchor for an art, technology and business service location housed within a single multi-purpose building on the corner of 24th & Fort business district. Each floor in the building will address major voids in the North Omaha infrastructure as it pertains to: professional business services, technological infrastructure as it relates to broadband/digital, young professional trained in information technology and/or computer science. A floor to address the lack of representation in the trades. With a floor dedicated to the trades/unions North Omaha will be a a great position to take advantage of an eager workforce which will be an independent, self sustainable group of earners, earning income and economic resources to reinvest into North Omaha. The first floor will feature commercial space for eaters, shops and micro businesses. Ultimately the corner of 24th and Fort will become a major destination location in North Omaha. Address: 5221-5217 N. 24th Street, Omaha, NE. 68111 There is also city vacant lots and private vacant lots, attached or in the same immediate area which would make this project scalable within the area for future growth and continued economic development.

In realizing these needs the multi-purpose business park will create living wage jobs, provide a source or training, provided needed services that people need in the Fort area that are lacking at present. Also in changing the aesthetics of the community will have positive psychological impacts upon the community that will also be long lasting and transformational.

The neighborhood will be more than a dead pass thru, but be transformed into a thriving local community business hub to includes business within the multi-purpose building such as a sit down eatery, mico clinic, art center, business shopping, trade union hub for sign up and information and technology center.
